SRMT Trainee Award*

New Applicants

SRMT Trainee Award Application Form

Trainees working in the area of skeletal regenerative medicine under the supervision of an SRMT investigator are eligible to apply to the Training Committee for a studentship or fellowship award. This award recognizes trainees who achieve academic excellence, demonstrate exceptional research potential, communication and leadership skills, and can function in a multi-disciplinary team. These awards are held for one year.

Please submit the following:

  • Completed SRMT Trainee Award Form
  • Acknowledgement of applying for or receiving funding from a recognized external award agency
  • Official University Transcripts
  • Two Letters of Reference
  • Curriculum Vitae

Renewal Applicants

SRMT Trainee Award Renewal Form

Trainees who currently hold an SRMT Trainee Award may apply to renew their award.

Please submit the following:

  • Completed SRMT Trainee Award Renewal Form
  • Acknowledgement of applying for or receiving funding from a recognized external award agency

*There are no scheduled competitions at this time.

SRMT Trainee Exchange Award

Trainee Exchange Award Form

In order to assist SRMT trainees develop interdisciplinary expertise and research collaborations, trainees may apply to the Training Committee for a trainee exchange award. Exchanges may include training in novel techniques, the exchange of technical expertise, scientific information, and/ or personnel among SRMT investigators’ laboratories, within private industry, and government laboratories. Applications are accepted at any time throughout the year.

Please submit the following:

  • Completed Trainee Exchange Award Application Form
  •  Letter of approval from host laboratory or private industry

Applications will not be accepted past September 30, 2011.

SRMT Collaborative Award

Collaborative Award Form

Trainees who develop new research collaborations with SRMT members and publish a manuscript pertaining to skeletal regenerative medicine in a peer-reviewed journal are eligible to apply to the Training Committee for an SRMT collaborative award. Applications will be accepted from January 1, 2011 until September 30, 2011.

Please submit the following:

  • Completed SRMT Collaborative Award Form
  • Proof of publication (i.e., a confirmation letter from an editor or proof manuscript).

Applications will not be accepted past September 30, 2011.
